At HOFMNJ, you come as you are. Typically, you will see members in suits and dresses as well as jeans and T-shirts. Wednesday evening is Midweek (start by 7:00, end by 8:30) and Friday evening is Prayer Meeting (start by 7:00, end by 8:30). The dress code for these week day services is casual.
It would be easier to say who doesn’t. We have young and old, single and married, those with and without children, and various races. The majority of our members are families with children and teenagers, but there is also a large group of young married and singles of all ages.
We have contemporary praise and worship that lasts from 40–45 minutes.
You can have your baby in service with you or take advantage of our nursery system. If your baby needs you during the service, we will inform you accordingly.
We have a place for your children. Before service starts, they can pass the time by watching Christ-centered videos at the Children’s Center. We have volunteers who are trained and love working with children to take care of your children.
We have Bible classes set up every Sunday morning before the main service where your teens are taught about issues they deal with on a daily basis.
There is free parking available for all. They are used on first-come first-serve basis.
Sunday Service begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Auditorium, with a “Hour of Prayer.” All Sunday school classes begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 10:30 a.m. (There are three (3) different classes. Two of them are located within the Church Auditorium whiles the third class is done in the overflow, which is not far from the Auditorium. Instructions will be given regarding which Sunday school to attend. After Sunday School sessions, we all reconvene at the Auditorium for Praise and Worship followed by the Word Ministration. Ushers and greeters are at nearly every entrance to direct you to where you need to go.
Easy! We have Wednesday and Friday night services that meet weekly for Bible and Prayer services respectively. Information regarding Cell Meetings will be included in the welcome package that will be handed to you during the service.
We celebrate Communion the last Sunday of every month.
Yes, we do Baptisms and dedications a few times a year. Announcements are made for each of these activities in the course of the service.
You can contact the Facilities Management or the Ushers and they can assist you in that regard.
Yes. There are two reserved parking in front of the building, close to the main entrance. The auditorium is wheelchair-friendly, and there are handicap accessible restrooms.
